Vintage Moore L 93 Fountain Pen Fine Point 14k Gold #3 Nib BCHR 1920s CLEAN! Please enlarge all 12 photos & read all the text for detail. This is a sturdy and very good condition 1920s Moore fountain pen, near perfect Gold Filled trim , It is beautiful and a very functional writing tool. It is crack free and works very well – very clear and crisp factory imprints, the “L-93″ is clear, Very good Lever assembly, The hard rubber does have a little fade as I try to show in the photos, – the nib is excellent & the filler is restored to working. Very clear chasing – No cracks no warp, no chips, Perfect cap lip , no personal engravings, Brand New quality ink sac just installed, The filling system works perfectly, The cap threads on very well (tightly) & posts perfectly. The Original Pocket Clip is excellent, a tight “Moore Clip” clip with nice factory markings, Perfect Lever, I see no brassing. Ready to ink & Write :- The feed has been ultrasonically cleaned & heat set to the nib, deep ink channel, good ink flow. (and a new quality ink sac :-). A Full Size Pen – It is a full 7″ Posted, and just under 5 & 3/8″ capped. Beautiful IDEAL # 3 Nib, 14K Gold, – (please see the close up photos of the nib) very nice straight & clean nib with very good iridium (see photo), smooth for a fine Point (finer with a light hand)- Good ink flow, a very good performer. Very controllable fine line flex, More of a SEMI FLEX with the line variation going from Fine point to 1.1mm max, Please see the writing sample. It will provide nice line variation & expression as shown. The nib can also make hairlines upside down.. Great for doodling , sketching , or every day fine point note taking and/or expressive letter writing :- copperplate / Spencerian :. The Paper is from a Rhodia Dotpad No. 16, the dots are 5mm apart to help you gauge the line variation. The inks are Waterman South Sea Blue(inspired), & Diamine Monaco Red. Conklin Fountain Pen Needle Point Fine Semi Flex 14K Nib vtg BCHR Vintage 1920s. Vintage CONKLIN Fountain Pen. Working (New Ink Sac) Pen. Great Nib – Made in. Working vintage (Classic) 1920s pen approx 90+ years old! Well preserved – collectible pen and a very usable a Writing Tool also :- It is ready to fill with ink & write. Crack & warp free & a very sturdy pen with a very nice nib. No personal names, Honest age & use showing, but a Very attractive pen in my humble opinion, The worn in look, Again NO CRACKS! The side factory imprint is light but can be read with magnification, Chevron chasing, Good working lever & filling mechanism and pressure bar. The pen has a brand new quality ink sac just installed. The cap threads on & posts perfectly, – The Iconic “Conklin” spring loaded Pocket clip is nice & tight, There IS Brassing to the clip & Lever, (no engraving) – Pen has NO cracks, Perfect cap lip. 1916 & 1925 Patent dates – Toledo Ohio made pen. Very nice Conklin #2 Nib. 14K , (PLEASE SEE THE NIB PHOTOS) Needle Point with a light hand. Nice smooth X fine point, finer with a light hand, with Excellent Iridium tipping. For a X-Fine point it has decent line variation, going from X Fine to 1.0 mm possible with out over flexing, (Semi Flex) you will still have control for every day fine point writing with a light hand, When you want some line variation, it goes from a Very fine point to a wider line as shown with medium to heavier pressure, Good ink flow, it will provide excellent line variation & expression. May be toothy on cheep paper. Great Small writing , for doodling , sketching , or every day fine point note taking and/or expressive letter writing :- (Small) copperplate / Spencerian style writing. The pen is 5 & 1/16″ capped, and just over 6 & 3/16″ posted. Very comparable to a Waterman 52 in size and feel – Fits my hand well when posted. Vintage Waterman 52 Fountain Pen. Working (New Ink Sac) Pen. VERY Nice Nib – BCHR :. Please enlarge all 12 photos & read all the text for detail. Working vintage (Classic that is in VERY STURDY User Grade Condition, and is ready to write) c1920s pen (approx 90+ years old) Very sturdy & crack free condition – The pen has honest wear, some fade to a dark brown, but no warp & no cracks, no personal names , Concerning the cap; It is an original 1920s Waterman cap, but it is not original to this pen – But it does thread on securely and post very well- In fact the cap fits & posts on this pen perfectly. The pen is warp & crack free – no personal names. The factory imprints are Very Clear as shown , the “52” can clearly be seen on the end of the pen – in fact there are still traces of the original red in this marking. A note about the lever, the lever box is stressed, but Not cracked – the pen has a brand new very soft ink sac inside & the lever works very well- and clicks shut as it should – with care this lever will last a long time. FULL SIZE PEN – a very usable a Writing Tool , It is ready to fill with ink & write :- The lever works very well with the brand new quality ink sac that was just installed , the feed was ultrasonically cleaned – deep ink channel – Good ink flow , Very nice writer. IDEAL #2 New York Nib , 14K, Very easy Flex (PLEASE SEE THE NIB PHOTOS) the tip is an X Fine point, or even finer with a light hand. With Excellent Iridium tipping (See photo) , nice line variation, Flexing from fine point to 1.7 mm possible but I would stay at 1.4mm or below for nib longevity, (Very nice line variation) you will still have control for every day fine point writing with a light hand, When you want some line variation, it goes from a fine point to a wider line as shown with medium to heavier pressure, it has a nice easy soft feel. It will provide excellent line variation & expression. Great for everyday writing (with expression), for doodling , sketching , or every day note taking and/or expressive letter writing :- copperplate / Spencerian.
