The 2023 “Black Sand” describes the picturesque blue of the Tyrrhenian Sea set against a shimmering black sand beach. To do this, Leonardo layered chatoyant black acrylic resin with deep blue for an effect similar to precious arco celluloid. Each piece of this Goldspot-exclusive design is individually numbered and limited to 150 pens worldwide. The edition number and beach illustration are engraved and filled in on the back of the cap. To complete the design, Leonardo accented each pen in ruthenium black, including the stainless steel nib.
