The newest addition to the Vanishing Point Limited Edition Collection is called Red Coral. Pilot chose the red coral that grows at the bottom of the Mediterranean Sea as the inspiration for the 2022 Limited Edition Vanishing point for its glimmering, vibrant red hues. For thousands of centuries, amulets of coral were worn for protection during sea voyages. Coral is traditionally believed to guard against evil and ill will. Red is also the color that summons good fortune, health, and strength. The 2022 Limited Edition Vanishing Point Red Coral is enhanced with an 18k rhodium-plated gold nib in medium, or fine (your choice) complemented by glossy rhodium-plated trim. This highly sought-after fountain pen is produced in a limited quantity of 2,022 pens worldwide. A hidden trap door helps keep the nib from drying out when not in use. A Pilot CON-40 converter is included with this pen, as well as a Pilot ink cartridge. A metal cartridge cap is also included for use with the ink cartridge. Each Vanishing Point fountain pen is beautifully merchandised in a special gift box, and is individually numbered out of 2022 along the pen’s centerband.

This nib unit includes a silver colored 18k gold nib, the feed mechanism, and housing. These are very easy to change and fit all current vanishing point models.
