This item appears to be unused with no signs of dings, dents or scratches. The only visible defects found are scratches on the top of the cardboard slip cover and the price tag has been removed from the bottom (reference photographs). Both the pen and pencil were tested at time of listing to be in working mechanical order (twist without issue) with good Cross brand medium black ink installed in the pen and a Cross brand 0.5mm lead cartridge with unused eraser. It appears that the ink and pencil cartridge are original, but that cannot be confirmed. This item is listed as a used, vintage item and is not new.
