Overall excellent cosmetic and working condition and fitted with a new ink sac. No plate loss or wear to the gold fill. A full 6 & 3/16″ posted and 5 & 1/16″ capped. The feed has been ultrasonically cleaned for good ink flow – the lever works well with a good inner pressure bar & a brand new quality ink sac just installed. This is a sturdy 1920s Waterman fountain pen, 18k Gold Filled trim , It was a work horse in the 1920s, and it can be now.. A very functional writing tool. This 52 is very sturdy & in good condition for a writer, as it is crack free and works very well – the condition is good, & Sturdy, with clear factory imprints, the “52” is clear, Very good Lever box assembly, The hard rubber does have some fade to brown and some wear from age & use as I try to show in the photos, but again, it is a sturdy crack free pen that is ready for use- the nib is excellent & the filler is restored to working. There is a name engraved on the side as shown, No cracks no warp, no chips, Perfect cap lip -Brand New quality ink sac just installed, The filling system works perfectly, The cap threads on very well (tightly) & posts perfectly.
