Black & Nickel Plate – Sturdy working Pen in collectible & usable Very good & well preserved Condition – it has a little honest wear, but very clean, Shiny & attractive in my opinion, VERY STRAIGHT PLASTIC a good sturdy writer with a very nice nib, it is ready to fill with ink and write, c1930s , Made in USA in the Classic Waterman Style – the pocket clip and Lever are both very sturdy & very functional. The lever works very well with the brand new quality ink sac that was just installed , the hard rubber Section & feed was ultrasonically cleaned, the cap was cleaned of old ink. The factory imprints very clear as shown. Waterman’Junior’ Nib – 14k Gold (#2 size) , controllable Easy Flex (PLEASE SEE THE NIB PHOTOS) the tip is a fine point, but finer with a light hand. With Excellent Iridium tipping (See photo) , nice line variation, Flexing from very fine fine point to 1.4 mm possible but I would stay at 1.2mm or below for nib longevity, still quite nice line variation as shown, you will still have control for every day fine point writing, When you want some line variation, it goes from a fine point to a wider line as shown with light to medium pressure, it has a nice soft feel. It will provide excellent line variation & expression. The writing sample was made by actually filling the pen with ink & writing with it, The writing sample will come with the pen, The Paper is from a Rhodia Dotpad No. 16, the dots are 5mm apart to help you gauge the line variation.
