Today the decorative sleeve is made from one piece of sterling silver which undergoes a multi-step process to coat the metal with a layer of palladium allowing a silver luster that will never dull. Every Toledo is a unique piece made in Germany. Only 200 pieces are produced each month so this series is a special order that may take 2 to 3 weeks to receive here in the United States. Clip and rings are plated with palladium and the fountain pen nib is made from solid 18kt gold with rhodium trim and an iridium tip. Each Toldeo is presented in a special gift box seen below.
