Vintage Waterman 14 PSF Fountain Pen. Working (New Ink Sac) Pen. VERY Nice Nib – BCHR :. Please enlarge all 12 photos & read all the text for detail. Working vintage (Classic that is in VERY STURDY User Grade Condition, and is ready to write) 1920s pen (approx 92 years old or more) Very sturdy & Very Clean condition – only problems are that the lever was replaced with (a good sturdy) nickel plated lever (the Barrel bands are fancy gold filled) and that the original pocket clip is missing, so I added a vintage accommodation pocket clip that is very functional (orig clip holes are clean) and general use, wear, patina and fade on the barrel, the pen is dark chocolate color hard rubber, the cap fits & posts on this pen perfectly – the pen is chased (worn). Crack Free Pen – The cap has a perfect cap lip. FULL SIZE PEN – a very usable a Writing Tool , It is ready to fill with ink & write :- crack & warp free & a very sturdy pen with a very nice nib :- – no personal names, The lever works very well with the brand new quality ink sac that was just installed , the feed was ultrasonically cleaned – DEEP INK CHANNEL :- Good ink flow , Very nice writer. The factory imprints are quite clear and readable, the 14 P. Can clearly be seen on the end of the pen. Very nice IDEAL #4 Nib , 14K Gold – Very nice controllable semi Flex , (PLEASE SEE THE NIB PHOTOS) the tip is a X-Fine point, or even finer with a light hand. The point has a little feedback (like a well sharpened pencil) , but quite nice for such a fine point, with Excellent Iridium tipping (See photo) , nice line variation, Flexing x fine to 1.3 mm possible but I would stay at 1.1mm or below for nib longevity, you will still have control for every day fine point writing with a light hand, NOT a super flex – When you want some line variation, it goes from a Very fine point to a wider line as shown with to medium to heavier pressure, it has a nice easy soft feel. It will provide excellent line variation & expression. The photo showing 2 nibs is to compare the size of a #4 nib to a #2 – The #4 nib shown is in this pen :- – the #2 nib is shown for comparison’s sake only and is not included. Great for and Artist! Or for small writing , and or everyday writing (with expression), for doodling , sketching , or every day note taking and/or expressive letter writing :- copperplate / Spencerian. The writing sample was made by actually filling the pen with ink & writing with it, The writing sample will come with the pen, The Paper is from a Rhodia Dotpad No. 16, the dots are 5mm apart to help you gauge the line variation. The inks are Waterman South Sea Blue , and Diamine Monaco Red. The pen is 5 & 3/8 capped. And 6 & 3/4 posted. Full size pen – Made in U. I HAVE OTHER PENS LISTED.
